This document systematizes the pedagogical experience developed by Benposta Nación de Muchach@s during 2020 in the Arauca region, within the framework of the project "Protective Environments. Building local capacities for the prevention, protection, and social reintegration of children and adolescents affected by the armed conflict in Colombia," funded and supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
An integrated protection model for children and adolescents, which, although recent in the region, is based on more than 15 years of experience led by Benposta in various areas of the country, thanks to the support of international cooperation and the building of local alliances with civil society organizations.
Benposta is an organization dedicated to defending and promoting the rights of children, adolescents, and young people, creating protective spaces and opportunities for a dignified life, based on active participation and social commitment.
