    Since its foundation, Benposta has adopted the \"Culture for Life\" project as a way to dignify the lives of the children who join and participate in the programs. Through art and culture, children, adolescents, and youth (CAY) are able to redefine their life projects, discover their abilities, strengthen their self-esteem, and create processes of expression and participation, especially when the realities they have experienced in their regions of origin have led to the degradation of their human condition. In this regard, within the educational centers, the process of artistic and cultural formation-participation is transversal to the pedagogical proposal, making the daily routine become a true pedagogical adventure, allowing the CAY to identify themselves as subjects in the construction of their life projects.\u00a0<\/p>

    Training, participation, and personal development processes in activities such as dance, music, singing, crafts, design-sewing, video production, and narrative expressions, among others... are understood not merely as leisure activities, but as pedagogically designed spaces guided by technicians and professionals in each of these areas. In these spaces, CAY enroll and participate regularly with a defined schedule. The goal is for Benposta participants to return to their regions and become leaders in cultural and community promotion, which is the focus of the academic training (graduates with an emphasis on social-community promotion).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    COMPONENTS:\nA. \u2013 Direct beneficiaries: 100 CAY located at the Benposta headquarters.\nB. \u2013 Project costs for 2021: 63,000,000 pesos (15,000 euros).\nC. \u2013 Types of costs included: adaptation of classrooms (space recovery), purchase of supplies (costumes, instruments, sound equipment, materials, etc.), specialized workshops in both vocational education and the arts, inter-institutional partnership strategy, and the pedagogical strategy of psychosocial support through the stages of commitment and self-government. It also provides the CAY with the opportunity to discover and develop their abilities and pursue professionalization in some of these areas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \u00a0Many of those who are now recognized professionals in different countries as musicians, circus artists, choir directors, singers, composers... have discovered and developed their skills and become professionals in some of these areas during their educational process at Benposta.<\/p>

    In addition to the above, the participation of CAY in these processes, especially in music and folkloric dance training-expression, strengthens their cultural identity, also considering psychosocial support and vocational guidance to ensure that the young graduates from Benposta...<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
