The Committee of Girl Consultants in Buenaventura promotes gender studies and youth empowerment.
In Buenaventura, the Committee of Consultant Girls works diligently on studies regarding gender issues, equality, and non-discrimination. As in other territories, spaces have been strengthened where zero tolerance for gender-based violence and the empowerment of girls and young women are key pillars. These activities are part of the "Protective Environments Network" project, developed by Benposta in collaboration with Taller de Vida and COALICO, with the support of the European Union in Colombia.
